PROPERTIES:
Hinders weed growth, considerably reduces the need for watering. Water
retention capacity of 80%. Provides winter protection and boosts growth
in early spring. Use its colour to decorate your flower beds. Effective
for 4-5 years.
USE:
0/5 and 5/10 barks are recommended for use in window boxes and pots, and
for mulching strawberry plants; place it in layers 5cm deep. 10/25 and
20/40 barks are recommended for flower beds, edging around trees and paths,
in layers 8 to 10cm deep. Effective for 4-5 years. As it rots down it
provides organic nutrients.
